Introduced in 1987 primarily for the discerning French market, this rare gem has left an indelible mark on the landscape of compact cars. Let's delve into the technical marvels and captivating anecdotes that define this iconic vehicle.

At its heart beats a robust 4-cylinder engine, boasting a displacement of 999 cc and delivering a spirited 50 horsepower. While these figures might seem modest by today's standards, they endowed the Panda 4x4 Val d'Isere with remarkable agility, effortlessly navigating urban streets and rugged terrains alike.

One of its defining features is, of course, the four-wheel drive system. This technological marvel, coupled with the compact dimensions of the Panda, bestowed upon it an unparalleled capability to traverse challenging landscapes with ease. Whether navigating snow-covered alpine roads or winding through forest trails, the Panda 4x4 Val d'Isere remains a steadfast companion to adventurers and urbanites alike.

Externally, the unmistakable square lines, courtesy of the renowned designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, captivate the eye. However, it's the distinctive touches that set the Val d'Isere edition apart. From the bespoke front bull bar to the special rims and the striking white 210 coloration, every detail speaks to its unique identity. Additional features such as the front depth lights, plastic front air intake, rear protective grilles, and the double sunroof add both functionality and flair to this remarkable vehicle.

Inside the cabin, passengers are greeted by specific black fabrics with red stripes, exuding a sense of sporty sophistication. Every element is meticulously crafted to ensure both comfort and practicality, reflecting Fiat's commitment to excellence.

Beyond its technical prowess, the Fiat Panda 4x4 Val d'Isere has woven itself into the fabric of automotive folklore through a series of captivating anecdotes.

Legend has it that the Panda's legendary traction, courtesy of its Pirelli Winter tires mounted on 4.5-inch rims, was the envy of off-road enthusiasts and seasoned adventurers alike. Stories abound of its ability to conquer seemingly insurmountable obstacles with grace and poise, earning it the moniker of "the little car that could."

Furthermore, the Val d'Isere edition's rarity only adds to its mystique. While primarily targeted at the French market, the sight of an Italian-specimen Panda 4x4 Val d'Isere remains a rare and cherished sight for automotive enthusiasts worldwide.

The Fiat Panda 4x4 Val d'Isere transcends the boundaries of mere transportation, embodying a spirit of adventure and exploration. With its blend of technical prowess, distinctive design, and captivating anecdotes, it continues to capture the hearts and imaginations of enthusiasts across generations. As we reflect on its legacy, one thing remains abundantly clear: the Fiat Panda 4x4 Val d'Isere is more than just a car—it's a symbol of automotive excellence and adventure.

THIS CHASSIS NUMBER

This 1987 Fiat Panda 4x4 Val D'Isere, mainly produced for the French market, is rarely found as an Italian specimen. The differences lie in the finishes, starting with the specific front bull bar, special rims, white 210 coloration, additional front depth lights, plastic front air intake, rear protective grilles, and the double sunroof. A blue and red adhesive strip along the car's profile with the Val D'Isere inscription distinguishes it at first glance.

The interior of this limited edition is characterized by specific black fabrics with red stripes, including the door panels. The specimen offered here, in the dedicated "Bianco 210" color, has undergone a total conservative restoration. Where possible, we have preserved the original components, restoring the most difficult to find parts. The bodywork has been restored, while the underbody has been cleaned and treated with protective materials but it remains original.

The bodywork has been fully polished, the two sunroof covers have been treated to restore their initial splendor, and the decals of the special version have been reconstructed. The engine - with approximately 100.000 original kilometers - has been checked and serviced, and some components have been replaced. A unique opportunity for fans and collectors: finding another one won't be easy!
