THE FERRARI 599 GTB FIORANO

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a legendary grand tourer produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari from 2006 to 2012. Named after the company's famous test track, the Fiorano, and the engine's displacement (5999cc), this car was a successor to the 575M Maranello and represented a significant leap forward in terms of performance, technology, and design.

The 599 GTB Fiorano was designed by Pininfarina: its sleek and aggressive lines were crafted to optimize aerodynamics and enhance performance. The long hood, muscular fenders, and distinctive side air intakes not only gave the car a striking appearance but also served functional purposes, aiding in cooling and downforce.

At the heart of the 599 GTB Fiorano lies a front-mounted, naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine. This powerhouse was capable of producing an impressive 612 horsepower and 448 lb-ft of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 60 mph in around 3.7 seconds and achieving a top speed of over 205 mph. The engine was mated to either a traditional six-speed manual transmission or Ferrari's advanced F1 "SuperFast" automated manual transmission, providing lightning-fast gear changes.

The 599 GTB Fiorano featured an aluminum space-frame chassis, which not only provided exceptional rigidity but also kept the car's weight in check, contributing to its agility and handling prowess. The car utilized a sophisticated adaptive suspension system and advanced electronic aids such as stability control and magnetic ride control to ensure precise handling and stability in all driving conditions. Furthermore, the Fiorano's advanced traction control system, derived from Formula 1 technology, allowed drivers to exploit the car's performance potential while maintaining optimal grip and stability.

Inside the cabin, the 599 GTB Fiorano offered a perfect blend of luxury and sportiness. High-quality materials, exquisite craftsmanship, and ergonomic design elements created an inviting and driver-focused environment. The seats provided excellent support during spirited driving while still offering comfort for long journeys. Advanced infotainment features, including a premium sound system and navigation, ensured occupants remained entertained and connected while on the road.

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is not just a car; it's a masterpiece of automotive engineering and design. With its breathtaking performance, exquisite styling, and unparalleled driving dynamics, it continues to captivate enthusiasts and automotive connoisseurs alike, cementing its status as one of the most iconic grand tourers ever produced.

THIS CHASSIS NUMBER

This 2006 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is finished in Grigio Silverstone over a Tan leather interior. Sold to the new owner when showing 56.964 km on the clock, this car has been very well kept by the previous custodians and it's the perfect example for the enthusiast looking for a car to drive and enjoy. Sold new in France, this car came with its original owner’s manual, service booklet, and several invoices of the services and works carried out within the authorized Ferrari network. This car was ordered from the factory with Scuderia Shields and a chrome egg-crate grille on the front end. A set of 20” Ferrari “Challenge” style wheels are optioned on this example, and behind them sit a set of yellow brake calipers.

The interior of a 599 GTB is an extremely lovely place to spend time, a pair of supportive and comfortable bucket seats are paired with a simple HVAC and stereo system, and outside of the small driver’s display in the gauge cluster, there are no large screens to distract from driving. On this car, the interior is upholstered in light Tan leather, which is accented by gray deviated stitching throughout the whole interior. The coveted “Carbon Driving Zone” fits this example with a partially carbon-rimmed steering wheel with LED shiftlights along the top rim illuminating as the car approaches redline. Additionally, numerous carbon fiber trim pieces were specified, including the center console, door cards, and dash-upper.
